1. Information We Collect

• Photos: The app needs access to your device’s storage/gallery to display photos in widgets. Photos are processed locally on your device. We do not upload your personal photos to our servers.
• Account & Profile Information: When you sign in using Google Sign-In (e.g. for custom shape requests or support chat), we collect basic profile details including your name, email address, and profile photo URL.
• Custom Shape Requests & Chat Messages: Text messages and request details submitted through our shape request chat are securely stored in Google Firebase to provide support and fulfill custom requests.
• Device & Usage Data: Third-party services (such as Google AdMob for ads and Google Firebase for app functionality) may process technical device identifiers and basic usage metrics necessary for app operation.

2. How We Use Information

• Display photos you select on home screen widgets.
• Authenticate user identity for custom shape requests and support chat.
• Store and manage shape request messages and user feedback.
• Serve advertisements (in the Free version) and manage app subscriptions/purchases via Google Play.

3. Subscription and Billing Data (Free App only)

• Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled by Google Play Billing.
• We do not collect or store payment details (credit cards, bank accounts).
• Google may share purchase status/receipt information needed to unlock premium features.
• Subscription management (cancel, renew, refund) is handled through your Google Play account settings, subject to Google’s policies.

4. Photo Widget Plus Pro (Paid)

• Photo Widget Plus Pro (Paid) does not require an in-app subscription. Premium features are included with your purchase of the Pro app.

5. Permissions

The app requires the following permissions to function:

• Read Storage / Photos Access: Required to display your photos in widgets.
• Schedule Exact Alarms (Android 12+): Required to update widgets at exact intervals.
• Run at Startup: Required to restore widgets after your device restarts.
• Post Notifications (Android 13+): Required to notify you about custom shape request responses and updates.

6. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion

• App settings and local widget photos are stored locally on your device.
• Account profile details and shape request chat history are stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore.
• If Android backup is enabled on your device, app data may be included in device backup according to Android system rules.
• You can delete widget data by removing widgets and deleting items inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data from your device.
• You can request deletion of your cloud-stored account profile and chat data at any time by contacting us at hazroonkhatoon.dev@gmail.com.

7. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services that process limited data, including:

• Google Play Services / Google Play Billing: Free app subscriptions and Paid app purchase validation.
• Google Firebase (Authentication & Cloud Firestore): Account sign-in, user authentication, and shape request chat database.
• Google AdMob: Serving advertisements in the Free version of the app.
• Google Android platform services: Required for app and widget operation.

These providers have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review Google’s privacy policy. We do not share your photos with third parties for marketing.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including Google Firebase security controls) to protect information processed by the app. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. You use the app at your own risk.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion.
• Withdraw consent where applicable.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request data portability (where applicable).

Because local data is stored on your device, you can clear it by uninstalling the app. To request deletion of your account or chat data from our cloud database, contact us using the details below.

11. International Users

If you use the app outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate (including through Google services). By using the app, you understand that this may occur.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Terms of Use

By downloading or using Photo Widget Plus or Photo Widget Plus Pro, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on your Android device, subject to these Terms and Google Play policies.

2. Free vs Pro

• Photo Widget Plus (Free): basic and premium features may be limited unless you subscribe.
• Photo Widget Plus Pro (Paid): premium features are included with purchase of the Pro app.

3. User Content

You keep ownership of photos you add. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to use those photos in widgets.

4. Subscriptions (Free App)

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled through Google Play before renewal. Refunds follow Google Play refund rules.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Reverse engineer or misuse the app.
• Use the app for unlawful content.
• Attempt to bypass premium restrictions in the Free app.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for data loss, device issues, or third-party service interruptions beyond applicable law.
